Super Mario Characters Appear on Gelato Pique Loungewear

Japanese luxury loungewear and sleepwear brand Gelato Pique is teaming up with Super Mario to release a cozy new collection comprising of 32 unique pieces for men, women, and children. In addition to short and long-sleeved loungewear sets, the collection also includes slippers, pillows, and blankets featuring Mario, Yoshi, Boo, and the iconic Mario Mushroom and Super Star. Items in the collection will go on sale starting at 12:00 (JST) on September 13, 2024 online. They will be available at physical Gelato Pique stores and at the Nintendo TOKYO shop at Shibuya PARCO on September 17, 2024. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The Mario and Yoshi loungewear sets are the symbols of the collection and will be sold for ¥12,320 (or $112).

Four unique sets comprising of a pullover and long pants will be available in three sizes. Women’s will cost ¥12,760 ($116), men’s will cost ¥14,960 ($136), and juniors will cost ¥9,900 ($90). Each cushion will sell for ¥4,180 ($38), while large blankets will cost ¥5,720 ($52).

Gelato Pique collaborated with a number of popular properties in the past, including two Animal Crossing collections in 2020 and 2021. The Super Mario franchise celebrated 35 years in 2024

Gelato Pique does not ship overseas, and it’s currently unclear whether these pieces will be made available on Gelato Pique’s US website. However, Usagi Online will also have the items in stock and will ship to international customers using WorldShopping.
