Grab your sunscreen and a cooler full of light beer, it’s time to head to the beach in Overwatch’s new Summer Games update. And also, the football pitch. And the grill, and the bar.
Following the launch of cross-play last month, Summer Games 2024 will bring back Lucioball for players to team up on across consoles, and the new Lucioball remix, has two balls in play the entire time and bonus balls worth extra points periodically spawning around the arena.
From July 20th to August 10th, playing 9, 18, and 27 games in Quick Play, Arcade, or Competitive Play will earn you rewards, and winning one of those games counts as “playing” two games. 9 games will give you a player icon, 18 games gives you a spray, and 27 games gives you one of three epic skins depending n the week:
Ocean King Winston (Epic, available week one)
Sunset Pharah (Epic, available week two)
Nihon Hanzo (Epic, available week three)
The new legendary skins you can unlock at any point in the next three weeks are as follows:
Sprinkles Mei (Legendary)
Mermaid Symmetra (Legendary)
Poolside Ashe (Legendary)
Scuba Sigma (Legendary)
Referee Orisa (Legendary)
Which skin are you hoping for? Let us know in the comments!
