News has emerged today regarding the development of Bandai Namco and Namco Tales Studio, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. The project took three years to develop and that includes the various console releases and the English localisation. The original Tales of Vesperia was released on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in 2007 and an enhanced port was released on Sony’s PlayStation 3 in Japan in 2009. The Definitive Edition of Tales of Vesperia was released in 2019 for then Nintndo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and sold over one million copies making it a profitable game for Bandai Namco.
