© NintendoUK physical chart data is now in for the week ending 3rd July, and the big news is that Mario Golf: Super Rush has held onto the top spot for the second week running.
PlayStation title Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has dropped down the chart from 3rd to 6th place, allowing the evergreen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to move up one place to 3rd position. Animal Crossing: New Horizons also rises a single place, moving to 4th, while the Switch version of Minecraft has jumped up two places.
Elsewhere, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is up from 10th to 8th, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – a Switch launch title, lest we forget – breaks into the top ten again, making the massive leap from 25th to 10th.
According to our friends over at Gamesindustry.biz, sales of BotW rose 31% in a single week, marking the third consecutive week of growth for the critically-acclaimed adventure. We’d imagine the recent hype for the upcoming sequel had something to do with that jump.
