What’s good ASTRO Family! We have a new exciting #ASTROUnboxed for you featuring the Slick Living CEO, Khleo Thomas! A collector of so many dope things including shoes, wearable art, and hypebeast toys. Watch Khleo show off some of his favorite pieces and the stories behind him:

Everyone is a collector in some form. Some do it to fulfill the need to complete a series, some do it for the exclusivity and the storytelling, and others don’t even realize they’re collecting until they look at what they have. You might have a desktop folder full of wallpapers or Spongebob reaction pictures, or a game account full of character skins; that’s all you need to be a collector. For Khleo, he hunts for possessions he can find inspiration in.

I collect because I love to have things that I can physically touch, hold, and see that inspire me.

As you can see Khleo is a big fan of rare pieces as he wears these Kristopher Kites chains in the photo above. Hailing from Chicago Kristopher is known for making these one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. You can see his work being worn by the likes of J.Balvin, Don C, Ben Baller, and more. When collecting rare items the most beautiful part of it all is the hunt and the satisfaction you get when you obtain the item and the mission is complete. It’s a feeling that’s indescribable.

I’m always on the hunt for limited edition versions of the things I like. Sneakers, toys, jackets, art etc. Being able to have 1 of 1000 just holds a bigger value to me. The uniqueness of the items. I like to have things that are conversational pieces. If I’m wearing Kristopher Kites pieces, I know it’s something nobody has seen before.

No matter if you’re a child or adult everyone appreciates a nice toy like these Bape Transformers seen above. A collaboration between the brands puts the very known Bape Camo print sprawled all over Optimus Prime. Such rare items seem to fit in the collection that Khleo has obtained over the years.
