They will now represent studios such as Asobo Studio, Motion Twin and Bulwark under the name S/O Games
French game developer associations Bordeaux Games and AngoulêmeJV have merged to create a new entity called S/O Games.
The new association will be encompassing companies across the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, which is the largest administrative territory in France.
S/O Games will represent around 110 studios employing over 1,000 people for an “estimated turnover of €110 million,” the announcement said. The industry in the region is expected to grow 10% yearly.
The new association will represent studios such as Microsoft Flight Simulator and A Plague Tale’s developer Asobo Studio, Dead Cells’ dev Motion Twin, Ubisoft, Shiro Games, Bulwark Studios, G4F, and Studio Nyx, among others.
Stéphane Bonazza, VP of business development at Northgard developer Shiro Games will act as president of S/O Games.
Earlier this year, we talked to SELL president Julie Chalmette about a year of impressive growth for the French games market in 2024.
