Sky: Children of the Light is out on Switch today, and we have more information about what the game includes. Players can experience a free main story arc and the ability for eight players to explore and play socially at any one time.
Even returning players from mobile can look forward to Sky: Children of the Light very soon. Coming up is the game’s the first-ever collaborative crossover event that will star the internationally beloved character, Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince), from the cross-generational French children’s novel and franchise created by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. A new “Starlight Desert” area has been added as well for the storyline. The new season kicks off on July 6.
If you’ve already played on Sky on iOS or Android, you can link your mobile account to play on Switch. There’s additional information about how it all works here.
Sky: Children of the Light is free-to-play on Switch, but thatgamecompany is also offering a Starter Pack on Switch for $30. It comes with two new capes, a vessel flute, new hairstyle, 75 candles, and an “extra surprise”.
