Wonder Festival 2024 Autumn Will Be Held in Person in September

The Wonder Festival Project Office will hold Wonder Festival 2024 Autumn physically at Makuhari Messe. The event will take place on Monday, September 20, 2024, from 10:00 to 17:00 JST. It will be held in-person, rather than online. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

Wonder Festival is a regular Japanese event that reveals new figures based on popular characters from game and anime franchises. The previous Wonder Festival in Winter 2024 was originally planned to take place physically. While the office ultimately canceled the physical event due to the coronavirus pandemic, it opted to hold a digital version in February 2024. The digital event still revealed many new figures, such as the Hololive Vtuber Korone and Yuuko from xxxHOLiC.

The organizer will enact measures to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading physically by selling tickets before the event day and abolishing early entry queues. The tickets for Wonder Festival 2024 [Autumn] will be priced at 3,000 yen (~$27) and available from July 19, 2024 to September 19, 2024.

The project office will also require every ticket buyer to provide their real name, phone number, and address for virus tracing purposes. Each buyer can also opt to either take the official guidebook at the venue or have it delivered with additional shipping costs.

Wonder Festival 2024 Autumn will take place physically at Makuhari Messe on September 20, 2024. Ten days after that, CESA will use the same location to hold a limited physical venue for Tokyo Game Show 2024 from September 30, 2024 to October 3, 2024.
