Carrion was announced for “consoles” all the way back at E3 2019, with an expected 2024 release date. Obviously that never happened, but the self-proclaimed “reverse-horror” game is finally scurrying onto PlayStation 4 later this year.
Carrion sees you play as an amorphous, multi-tentacled monster with a hunger for human flesh. It’s part platformer, part puzzler, as you’ll need to navigate cramped environments using your alien abilities. Armed guards will fight back, so it’s all about stealthy approaches and pinpoint murder, instilling fear in your prey before snacking on them. Gruesome.
