The rest of the cut-scene plays identically to the other choice. Later in the story Toka explains that she is grateful that Eivor did not hand over the boy to King Charles. When you speak with Sigred later, he expresses disappointed that Eivor did not keep his word. Later in the story, Odo informs Eivor that the King is hunting down his wife and the child. Later, Odo also agrees with Eivor’s choice not to give the child to the king.

Later in the story, Eivor will try to help the queen and finds Bernard, the boy, hiding in a church. Eivor sets out to save the queen who is being put on trial by the king.

Ultimately, this decision means very little. It does change some minor dialogue at different parts of the story, but that’s about it.
